Preparation process

Slice the potatoes. Peel and slice the carrots. Mix the vegetables with salt, pepper, garlic, and oil.

Spread the vegetables on a greased baking tray. Add rosemary, the seasoned chicken, and pour the wine around the edges.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Place it on the lowest rack. If you have a steam oven, turn on the third steam level for the entire cooking time. After 15 minutes of baking, reduce the temperature to 180°C (350°F). Bake for another 20 minutes per 500 grams of weight. My chicken weighed around 1.5 kg, and I baked it for 15 minutes at 200°C (392°F), then 3×20 minutes at 180°C (350°F).

During baking, baste it three to four times with the juice and fat from the bottom of the baking tray to make it brown better.

Cover the roasted chicken with aluminum foil for 20 minutes to let the meat rest, then serve it.
